2010 Brick Works Forum

Hosted by Evergreen and the Office of the Honourable Jim Flaherty, Finance Minister of Canada, and presented by Ernst & Young, the 2010 Brick Works Forum fostered high-level dialogue between industry and the government.
Moderated by CBC journalist Wendy Mesley, and featuring panelists such as Walmart CEO David Cheesewright and Cleantech Group’s executive chairman, Nicholas Parker, the discussions sought ways to encourage the emerging green economy through innovative private-public partnerships.
Recommendations from the 2010 Forum, documented in the 2010 White Paper, served to inform government policy while stimulating action in the private sector.
